Actress Nidhhi Agerwal faced an alarming situation after being surrounded by fans during a promotional event in Hyderabad on 17th December. A video showing the actress struggling to move through an uncontrollable crowd has gone viral, sparking serious safety concerns online.
The incident took place at a busy mall in Kukatpally, where Nidhhi Agerwal had arrived to promote a song from her upcoming film The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas. As fans rushed towards her for selfies and photos, the crowd quickly turned chaotic.
Despite the presence of security, the situation escalated within minutes. The actress appeared visibly uncomfortable as security personnel tried to escort her out of the venue. The video has since triggered widespread criticism over poor crowd management and the lack of safety measures.
Social media users strongly condemned the behaviour of the crowd, with many calling for stricter regulations at celebrity events. Singer Chinmayi Sripaada also reacted to the incident, highlighting concerns about women’s safety and fan culture.
Following the viral outrage, police reportedly registered a case against the event organisers and mall management for failing to obtain proper permissions and ensure adequate security.
As of now, Nidhhi Agerwal has not issued an official statement. Meanwhile, The Raja Saab continues to remain in the spotlight ahead of its release.
